Karsdorp has played in Roma’s last seven consecutive games in Serie A and the Europa League, but will be sent back to the sidelines again. Calciomercato.com details how Karsdorp suffered a fractured septum after a painful collision during Roma’s Europa League win over Real Sociedad, an injury that will force him to undergo surgery. The 28-year-old has been excluded from the upcoming Derby della Capitale against Lazio and will probably return after the international break with a protective mask.
