According to Sportitalia, Atalanta have told Manchester United, Real Madrid and any other interested parties that they must pay at least €60 million to sign Giorgio Scalvini.
The central defender has long been linked with clubs such as Juventus, Inter and AC Milan. A January exit remains extremely unlikely, but Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà maintains that Atalanta would be willing to listen to an extremely high offer. The cost of the operation would be an absolute minimum of 60 million euros to sell Scalvini, a product of Atalanta’s prolific youth academy. He turned 20 last month, and his contract with the Bergamo club runs until June 2028. Manchester United are already aware that Atalanta are conducting difficult negotiations, as they held out until the asking price was reached last summer for Rasmus Hojlund, eventually selling for €74 million plus a further €9.6 million.
