Antonio Conte has been without a club since leaving Tottenham. Recent rumours had him joining Juventus, but this was quickly quashed. In a recent interview with Tuttosport, Angelo Alessio, his deputy at Chelsea, did not rule out a move to AC Milan.
“He (Antonio Conte, editor’s note…) also said publicly this year that he wouldn’t move. Next summer, many people will be looking for him in Italy and abroad. We’re talking about an extraordinary coach. Whoever buys him will make a good deal. You have to understand the reasoning of foreign owners in terms of investment and objectives. He’s certainly a great professional and he’s always said over the years that he wouldn’t be hindered by a major project. As he went to Inter, he could accept Milan or go elsewhere. For the moment, I don’t see many benches available at his level, but it’s still early days”, declared Angelo Alessio.
