After testing positive for the banned substance testosterone on August 20, Paul Pogba knows what to expect. The anti-doping prosecutor’s office has issued its requisition. They have requested the normal sentence of four years for the French midfielder.
Paul Pogba tested positive for testosterone on August 20 following a match between Juventus and Udinese. The 2018 World Champion requested a counter-analysis, which led to the same result a few days later. Today, the public prosecutor’s office is requesting a 4-year suspension for the former Manchester United man, who will have the right of defense before a judge. For the time being, however, he remains suspended from all football-related activities. He receives a salary of 42,000 euros a year instead of the eight million on his contract. A contract that Juventus can terminate if he is found guilty.
