In an interview with La Gazzetta Dello Sport, former Juventus player Andrea Barzagli discussed the club’s transfer market. With the Old Lady of Italy looking for a midfielder, he suggested that Teun Koopmeiners would be a good choice.
To replace Paul Pogba, Juventus are scouring the market, and have ticked off several names. Among them, Teun Koopmeiners. For former Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli, the choice of the Atalanta player is revealing. He describes the player as excellent, and capable of bringing something extra to the team. “He’s an excellent player, he knows the Italian league well and above all he’s someone who guarantees goals and assists. These are characteristics that are not so common for a midfielder, and for this reason he is very much in demand,” said Barzagli.
