Yann Sommer has reportedly decided to join Inter and has agreed personal terms with the club, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Inter will now have to negotiate a fee for Sommer with his current club, Bayern Munich, whom he joined from Borussia Moenchengladbach in January following a season-ending injury to Manuel Neuer. It has already been reported that Sommer is available to leave with a release clause if a team pays Bayern the same fee they paid Gladbach in January. The Swiss international is part of the Nerazzurri’s contingency plans for when current No.1 Andre Onana joins Manchester United, which should be made official in the next few days. With Sommer and Trubin, Inter believe they have an immediate heir to Onana’s throne in Sommer, while Trubin is seen as a long-term replacement.
