Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali confirms that the best offer for Davide Frattesi comes from a Premier League club.
The midfielder was on the verge of a transfer to his boyhood club Roma last summer, but the two sides failed to agree on terms. He is sure to be back at the center of speculation this summer, after being linked to AC Milan, Juventus and Napoli. “I have not talked to him about the clubs that might be interested. As of today, I am trying to understand what the best opportunity is for Sassuolo, and for the moment it is from a Premier League club. It is premature to discuss it now, but we will all together try to determine if there will really be an important proposal from one of these Italian clubs,” Carnevali told Sky Sport Italia. The 23-year-old was linked with Arsenal last year and could well be pursued by the Gunners again this time around.
