Alvaro Morata appears to be on the verge of leaving Atletico Madrid to join AC Milan following La Roja’s victory at Euro 2024. According to Tuttosport, an agreement in principle has been reached for a four-year contract at around €5 million per season, with an option for a fifth year.
Once the administrative formalities have been completed, Milan will activate the €13 million termination clause with Atletico Madrid. Medical examinations will follow, and Morata is expected to make his first appearance in a Milan shirt at the Berlusconi Trophy on August 13, four days before their Serie A opener against Torino. This transfer marks a new stage for Morata, bringing his experience to AC Milan’s attack as they aim for domestic and continental success.
