Guest on Domenica Sportiva, Gianluigi Buffon met Massimiliano Allegri, his former coach. The latter recalled good times with the goalkeeper, whom he describes as a champion. He told an anecdote about the goalkeeper during a match between Juventus and Barcelona.
“He was a champion. He knows that I don’t have a great feeling for goalkeepers, but I was delighted to see him save. He made some saves. I remember the one he made against Iniesta at home, in the 45th minute of the first half, which changed the result there. Only the best players do it, there is no plan for it, nothing. It’s Mother Nature, mom and dad did a good job,” said Massimiliano Allegri.
