Napoli have confirmed the signing of Italian international Alessandro Buongiorno from Torino.
Napoli have completed the signing of Buongiorno from Torino, the Partenopei said in an official statement on Saturday morning. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis also welcomed the Italian central defender with a post on X, formerly Twitter. Several sources say the transfer is worth 35 million euros plus 5 million euros in add-ons, while Buongiorno has signed a contract until 2029 worth 2.5 million euros per season. His contract includes a 70 million euro clause valid from his third season at the club. Buongiorno will only join his team-mates at Dimaro in the next few days. He is still on vacation, having taken part in Euro 2024 with Italy, although he spent all four games on the bench. Buongiorno is Napoli’s third signing after Leonardo Spinazzola and Rafa Marin.
