Roma defeated Monza 1-0 on Matchday 9 of Serie A. Speaking on Roma TV today, Giallorossi coach José Mourinho admitted that the victory was undeserved. He praised the opposition’s strong performance, which he felt could have won the match too.
“What matters is the 3 points, that’s the important thing, but it’s fair to say with humility that Monza were very good. We missed a few chances to score, took two posts, but they too could have won. I’m happy with the three points, there are games in which we played better and didn’t win, whereas yesterday we won without deserving,” said the Special One.
