According to Calciomercato.com, AC Milan have opened talks with RB Salzburg to sign Strahinja Pavlovic, their main defensive target this summer.
AC Milan have opened preliminary talks to sign Serbian international Pavlovic from Red Bull Salzburg, according to a report from Calciomercato.com. La Gazzetta dello Sport reported last week that the Rossoneri were interested in the 23-year-old. According to this latest report, Pavlovic is AC Milan’s main defensive target for the summer 2024 transfer window. Calciomercato confirms that Salzburg’s asking price is around €20 million, so AC Milan are considering the best transaction structure before making an official opening offer. It is believed, however, that the Rossoneri must sell Malick Thiaw before signing Pavlovic. At his first press conference earlier this week, new AC Milan coach Paulo Fonseca stated that the signing of a new central striker is the club’s priority.
