AC Milan have confirmed the signing of Marco Sportiello as a free agent. The Italian goalkeeper will wear jersey no. 57.
Sportiello passed his medical with the Rossoneri on Tuesday and has now completed a free transfer to the San Siro. His contract with Atalanta expired on June 30. “AC Milan is pleased to announce the arrival of Marco Sportiello on July 1, 2023. The Italian goalkeeper has signed with the Club until’June 30, 2027,” said the club in an official statement. In January 2017, he moved to Fiorentina , where he played 39 games, followed by a move to Frosinone for the 2018/19 season, where he played 36 times.
