According to Il Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan have increased their offer for Marcus Thuram, and other sources claim they are confident of beating PSG to sign the French international.
Thuram appears to be AC Milan’s priority target to strengthen their attack after Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s retirement. Thuram is available as a free agent as his contract expires on June 30. In Saturday’s print edition of Tuttosport, journalist Antonio Vitiello wrote that AC Milan had increased their wage offer for the French international. According to Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoneri are increasingly confident of signing the 25-year-old because, unlike PSG, they can offer him a central role in their project. The Ligue 1 giants have yet to choose a new coach for next season, while AC Milan will continue with Stefano Pioli in 2023-24.
