La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AC Milan have reached a definitive agreement with Villarreal on the price of Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze, who could now officially join the Rossoneri in the coming days.
According to the Gazzetta report, AC Milan have agreed to pay a total package of 28 million euros for Chukwueze, made up of 20 million euros upfront and 8 million euros in bonuses. The 24-year-old has reportedly signed a four-year contract at the San Siro, valid until the end of the 2026-27 season, having already agreed personal terms according to Calciomercato.com. Gazzetta also claims that Chukwueze’s move will now be carried out as quickly as possible, with an official announcement expected over the weekend, or Monday at the latest. AC Milan hope that Chukwueze will then be able to join the rest of the Rossoneri squad in the USA to take part in the team’s pre-season tour.
