Giorgio Furlani, AC Milan Chairman and CEO, has justified the arrival of Christian Pulisic in a recent media interview. The club’s top man revealed that the American was a great player. That’s why the Rossoneri have pulled out all the stops to sign him.
“We bought Pulisic 90% because of problems with the pitch. We think Christian is a great player and can give a lot to our team. As well as the staff and also his teammates and the player hasn’t been with us for more than a few weeks. Milan is a global brand in soccer and sport in general, and for this reason we want to buy footballers who have global appeal. This is the other reason why we chose Pulisic. Again, the main reason we chose him is the fact that he is a great footballer. He didn’t have much luck at Chelsea, but he’s a great player. We’re sure he’ll do very well at Milan,” Giorgio Furlani told ESPN.
