Roma, in search of a striker to replace the injured Tammy Abraham, are said to be very close to Gianluca Scamacca. However, the latest news is that AC Milan are also in the hunt for the West Ham United centre-forward.
Just a few months after leaving Italy, Gianluca Scamacca is close to a comeback. Plagued by injuries, the centre-forward has failed to live up to the Hammers’expectations. The Hammers are reportedly open to his departure this summer. While Roma seemed to be making progress, La Repubblica di Roma reports that AC Milan are also keeping an eye on the player. Despite the purchase of Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze, the Lombardy club are not yet satisfied. With Ante Rebic off to Turkey, Scamacca is said to have been signed as his replacement.
