After Olivier Giroud, Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez, it is now reported that Milan defender Pierre Kalulu has been shortlisted for the French national team.

According to Footmercato.net, the 22-year-old has been told that he will be included in the team for their upcoming matches. This would be the first time that Kalulu would be called by the French team. Kalulu’s versatility is highly valued by Pioli, capable of playing as a central defender in a three or four-man defense, right back or left back. Les Bleus are preparing to return to the field for the first time since losing the 2022 World Cup final to Argentina on penalties in Qatar in December. Coach Didier Deschamps is set to release his final squad list on March 16 to begin EURO 2024 qualifying against the Netherlands and the Republic of Ireland.
