AC Milan are increasingly serious about Joshua Zirkzee as they look to beat Juventus.
AC Milan’s target strikers begin to dwindle as the summer transfer window approaches. Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres is far out of reach and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko has a price tag of €70 million, which complicates matters for the Italian giants. AC Milan know that a new central striker needs to arrive this summer, especially with Olivier Giroud heading to Los Angeles FC, and a decision should be made in the next few weeks. Paulo Fonseca will help plan the club’s summer transfer market, and the aim is to give him a new striker soon. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are interested in Zirkzee this summer, keen to take advantage of his €40 million release clause. Substantial agent fees will also be attached, but should not prove too problematic. There is no shortage of competition for the Dutch striker, who would like to stay in Italy.
