Bad news for AC Milan and Stefano Pioli. Pierre Kalulu and Marco Pellegrino, both forced off the pitch in Sunday evening’s match against Napoli, have undergone tests to check the extent of their respective injuries.
Kalulu is suffering from a lesion in his left thigh, which requires surgery. The French defender is likely to be unavailable for an extended period in the event of surgery. As for Pellegrino, examinations revealed an open fracture of the calcaneus. The Argentine defender will be out for at least a month. On the other hand, the Rossoneri coach can breathe a sigh of relief for Christian Pulisic, for whom muscular injuries have been ruled out.
