AC Milan are still scouring the transfer market for opportunities to strengthen their squad this summer. The club is keen to sign AS Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana. For the time being, however, the financial distance between the two sides is putting a damper on the imminent white smoke.
The scorer of four goals and as many assists in 35 games last season with AS Monaco, Youssouf Fofana has caught the eye of several clubs, including AC Milan. The Lombardy club see in him a combination of Kessié, Adli and Bennacer. According to TMW, his recruitment appears to be a priority. The Rossoneri have reportedly offered Monaco €20 million for his transfer, a year before the end of his lease with the Principality. But the French club is asking for a little more, given the strong interest shown by several other clubs. AC Milan are still pushing for the white smoke, but are keeping several other names in mind in the event of failure.
