Stefano Pioli and AC Milan can breathe a sigh of relief following Olivier Giroud’s return to training a few days before the derby against Inter .
Giroud is an essential part of Pioli’s Milan team and has already started the season in fine form, scoring four goals and providing an assist in the first three games of the season. As reported by Calciomercato.com, Giroud took part in the team’s training session in Milanello yesterday, showing good signs just a few days before the Derby della Madonnina against Inter. The French striker is now expected to start against the Nerazzurri on September 16.
Pierre Kalulu has not trained with the squad and will undergo a series of medical tests to examine the muscle injury he sustained earlier this week.
