AC Milan are in the midst of an injury crisis and are keen to recruit Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile in January.
Rossoneri coach Stefano Pioli was forced to use midfielder Rade Krunic as a center-back in the Champions League defeat to Borussia Dortmund after Malick Thiaw suffered a hamstring injury early in the second half. AC Milan have a long list of players currently sidelined due to injury, having to do without Ismael Bennacer, Pierre Kalulu, Mattia Caldara, Thiaw, Marco Sportiello, Marco Pellegrino, Simon Kjaer, Rafael Leao and Noah Okafor. As reported by Tuttosport via TMW , AC Milan will be looking to strengthen their squad during the January mercato and are considering making a move for Chelsea defender Badiashile. The 22-year-old Frenchman has barely featured for Les Bleus this season, having played just 151 minutes of action in two games, and AC Milan are hoping to sign him on loan. Before his move to West London, Juventus were one of the clubs interested in Badiashile, and now he could finally make the switch to Serie A.
