According to several Italian media reports, AC Milan have now agreed terms with Juan Miranda, who has just seven months left on his contract with Real Betis.
The Rossoneri have been looking for a new left-back since the summer mercato, after deciding to remove Fode Ballo-Touré from Stefano Pioli’s squad. Although Theo Hernandez is a key star of the team, his lack of reliable replacements puts the club in a tricky position. Miranda has quickly become one of AC Milan’s best options. The talented 23-year-old is set to leave Real Betis on a free transfer next summer, having decided not to sign a new deal with the club. Last season, he scored three goals and provided two assists in 21 league games. As reported by TMW, AC Milan met Miranda’s entourage last week and reached a verbal agreement regarding the terms of a contract. The two parties have spoken again in recent days as they work to finalize the deal. The Rossoneri must now decide whether to bring in the Spaniard in January, which would require them to reach an agreement with Real Betis, or wait until next summer.
