AC Milan need to strengthen their midfield this summer and have contacted the Florentino Luis entourage, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Rossoneri’s summer mercato didn’t get off to a particularly good start, with the sacking of technical director Paolo Maldini. Things went from bad to worse recently when Newcastle emerged to seal a deal for Sandro Tonali, exacerbating tensions among fans. AC Milan now need at least two midfielders this summer, one to replace Tonali and one to replace the injured Ismael Bennacer, who will miss the first few months of the 2023-24 season. As Di Marzio reports, one player AC Milan are keeping a close eye on is Benfica’s Florentino, with whom they have already begun talks to start exploring a possible transfer . The Portuguese giants want around €30 million for the 23-year-old, and valuations are currently underway.
