Daichi Kamada is expected to undergo his medical at AC Milan next week, as his agents met with the directors yesterday to discuss the details of his free transfer.
The Japanese international creative midfielder will be at the end of his contract when his current deal with Eintracht Frankfurt expires on June 30. He had been linked with several clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund and Napoli. However, several sources over the last few days have confirmed that Kamada has chosen AC Milan as his next destination after mathematically qualifying for the Champions League. Intermediary agent Beppe Bozzo met with AC Milan directors during the week and has reportedly agreed a four-year contract worth €3 million per season.A medical is scheduled for next week, then Kamada could become the Rossoneri’s second summer signing after teammate Marco Sportiello of Atalanta, who agreed to terms months ago. Kamada will be 27 in August and plays as a creative midfielder, where this season for Eintracht Frankfurt he was able to contribute 16 goals and seven assists.
