Roma has officially appointed its new CEO and general manager, former Olympiacos FC boss Lina Souloukou, a member of the ECA board of directors.
The club suddenly ended all working relations with CEO Pietro Berardi on Monday. While Italian newspapers have mentioned several options, the winning candidate to replace Berardi was another upset. It’s Souloukou who will immediately take up his duties as the Club’s general manager and managing director. “Lina is an experienced, respected and trusted leader in soccer and business and we are delighted to welcome her to the AS Roma family. We will work closely with her to continue to build the Club to the highest level worthy of both the Giallorossi fans and the city,” said Dan and Ryan Friedkin.
