Gabriele Gravina, President of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), spoke of the awarding of Euro 2032 to Italy and Turkey. For him, this is a historic moment for his country. He is delighted that a major competition is returning after more than 3 decades of waiting.
“It’s a historic turning point for us, we’ve been pursuing this goal for years. Since 1990, we haven’t had the opportunity to organize such a major soccer tournament. 42 years is the ideal time to concentrate our efforts and demonstrate once again our country’s great capacity for organization and management,” Gabriele Gravina told Sky Sports.
