Paris Saint-Germain have begun preparing a mega-bid for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as they look to snap up the Napoli star this summer.

According to RMC Sport, PSG coach Luis Enrique had identified the Georgian winger as the club’s top priority to strengthen the club’s attack this summer following the departure of Kylian Mbappe, who is widely expected to join Real Madrid. Kvaratskhelia has continued to impress for Napoli this season despite the club’s complicated post-Scudetto situation, scoring 10 goals and providing nine assists in 42 games. He is still on the initial contract signed earning just 1 million euros net per season. French sources explain how PSG are prepared to offer at least 80 million euros for Kvaratskhelia this summer, believing him to be the perfect long-term replacement for Mbappe. He will also be offered a lucrative contract, with a much higher salary than he currently earns with Napoli. There have already been several rounds of talks between the French club and the Georgian winger’s entourage, but it’s clear that Aurelio De Laurentiis isn’t keen to let the 23-year-old leave for less than 100 million euros.
