Paulo Dybala arrived at Roma as a free agent last summer after his contract at Juventus expired, and quickly became a valuable asset for José Mourinho’s team. The Giallorossi have been inundated with interest this summer, and are aiming to lock him up before the end of the month to avoid seeing him leave for a derisory price.
When signing his contract last summer, Roma set Paulo Dybala’s release clause at 12 million euros for foreign clubs wishing to recruit him before July 31. So far, Saudi clubs and Chelsea have come forward. At the same time, the club from the Italian capital wants to keep Joya. A meeting has therefore been held between the Pibe de la Pension entourage and the Friedkin family, the club’s owners. An agreement could be reached shortly, but the World Cup winner’s agent is asking the club to make a small financial effort with regard to the player’s salary. He currently earns 6 million euros.
